On 1 September 2022, Prof. Beck handed over his office to the newly appointed university professor Ines Hauer in a ceremony after 33 years of service as head of the institute.
On 1 September 2022, Prof. Beck handed over his office to the newly appointed university professor Ines Hauer in a ceremony after 33 years of service as head of the institute.
In front of the IEE staff, lecturers and Prof. Hauer, Prof. Beck gave his farewell lecture entitled "A researcher's life in retrospect with an outlook - Extension of Maxwell's equation to ferromagnetic permanent magnets with the introduction of virtual magnetic charge" and then handed over the keys to the institute to his successor.
